Supplemental Terms of Use

These supplemental Terms of Use ("Terms") are part of an agreement between the below-named Member ("Member" or "you" or "your") and Intuit Inc. ("Intuit" or “we” or “us”).

You have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Intuit Terms of Use and now wish to enroll in Mint Credit Monitoring Service (“Mint Credit Monitoring Service”). These supplemental Terms of Use supplement the Intuit Terms of Use (collectively, the “Agreement”) which remain in full force and effect and apply to The Mint Credit Monitoring Service. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined below have the meanings provided in the Intuit Terms of Use.

Subject to the terms of the Agreement, Intuit will provide the Mint Credit Monitoring Service to you. By clicking "I AGREE," you indicate that you understand and agree to the Agreement’s terms. If you do not agree the Agreement’s terms, you will not be able to access or use the Mint Credit Monitoring Service. Your continued use of or payment for the Mint Credit Monitoring Service constitutes your continued acceptance of the Agreement.

    The Mint Credit Monitoring Service may provide you with information about your credit profile monitoring or alert services and interactive tools where available. The Mint Credit Monitoring Service will be provided via our website, including via mobile applications, where available. Some of the Mint Credit Monitoring Services will be provided through our third party processing agent, Equifax Information Services, LLC (“Processing Agent”). You may select the Mint Credit Monitoring Service, with features described below.
    a) Mint Credit Monitor Service The Mint Credit Monitoring Service is a paid version of the Mint Service available to Mint customers. This service includes the following:
    • Three-bureau credit scores with periodic single-bureau score updates and tracking as described on the website, monthly or annual three-bureau credit reports, daily three-bureau credit bureau monitoring with alerts and daily identity monitoring. The credit scores provided to you are the Equifax® Credit Score, which is based on a proprietary credit model developed by Equifax. It uses information in your Equifax, Experian and TransUnion credit files.
    • Key factors affecting individual users' credit scores, credit score comparison to national norms and simulators to understand how specific actions might affect individual users' credit scores
    • A credit score tracker where users will be able to view a graph of their historical credit scores.
    • A credit score calculator, an interactive piece of software where users may use the software to predict the impact that various behaviors may have on their credit score in the future.
    • Overview of the credit score factors, educational content explaining which data items might affect your credit score.
    • An identity threat score to indicate likelihood of identity theft by considering what personal information is publicly available from online sources where available.
    b) Additional Credit Products

    Additional credit products may be made available to you via our website and may include products from third parties such as our Processing Agent. Please review the specific features, terms and conditions and associated fees before you purchase.

    Intuit does not guarantee that you will receive your free credit report information via the Mint Credit Monitoring Service. You must satisfy our eligibility requirements. You may obtain your own report without the use of the Services. You have the right to a free credit report from or (877) 322-8228, the ONLY authorized source under Federal law.


    You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Mint Credit Monitoring Service, and you must be the subject of the credit report that you are seeking.

    You hereby authorize Intuit to do all of the following in connection with providing you the Services: (i) verify your identity and share with our Processing Agent certain non-public personal information about You, including Your Social Security Number; (ii) request and obtain your consumer credit report, including your score from our Processing Agent throughout the term in which we provide you the Services; such request constitutes "written instructions" in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”); and (iii) use and retain your credit information, along with the other information you have given us access to under the Agreement, to provide the Services and use with other Intuit services that include substantially similar functionalities as these Services. You agree that we may use and analyze your information as follows: (a) present you an overview of your credit profile including detailed information where available; (b) provide you with customized recommendations and general information about you; and (c) serve you targeted ads and other communication based on your information. Intuit may send you information via email, text or online display or other means of delivery in Intuit’s reasonable sole discretion. We may also aggregate and evaluate your information to do statistical analysis to provide historical or comparative information and to improve Intuit products and services. We will obtain your prior consent if we use your identifying information for any other purpose not expressly permitted under these Terms. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.


    You agree to provide true, accurate and current information. It is a violation of federal criminal laws to knowingly or willfully obtain information from a consumer reporting agency under false pretenses. You agree not to do any of the following: (i) violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any regulations having the force of law; (ii) further or promote any criminal activity or enterprise or provide instructional information about illegal activities; or (iii) obtain or attempt to access or otherwise obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Mint Credit Monitoring Service.

  4. The Mint Credit Monitoring Service is offered on a payment or subscription basis. The following terms apply, unless Intuit or its third party affiliate notifies you otherwise in writing. This Agreement also incorporate by reference and includes program ordering and payment terms provided to you on the Services website:

    a) Payments will be billed to you in U.S. dollars, and your account will be debited when you subscribe and provide your payment information, unless stated otherwise in the program ordering or payment terms on the website for the Products.
    b) You must pay with one of the following:
    i) A valid credit card acceptable to Intuit;
    ii) A valid debit card acceptable to Intuit;
    iii) Sufficient funds in a checking or savings account to cover an electronic debit of the payment due;
    iv) By another payment option Intuit provides to you in writing.
    c) If your payment and registration information is not accurate, current, and complete and you do not notify us promptly when such information changes, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any use of the Products.
    d) If you do not notify us of updates to your payment method (e.g., credit card expiration date), to avoid interruption of your Product, we may participate in programs supported by your card provider (e.g., updater services, recurring billing programs, etc.) to try to update your payment information, and you authorize us to continue billing your account with the updated information that we obtain.
    e) Intuit will automatically renew your monthly or annual Products at the current rates, unless the Products are cancelled or terminated under this Agreement.
    f) Additional cancellation or renewal terms may be provided to you on the website for the Products.

    Intuit may terminate the Mint Credit Monitoring Service for any reason at any time. You may cancel your Mint Credit Monitoring Service membership at any time by calling customer service 1-866-373-7830 or at number identified on our website.

    a) Monthly subscriptions:

    If you cancel a monthly subscription, you will continue to have access to the Mint Credit Monitor Service until the end of the monthly period during which you canceled, at which point your access to the Mint Credit Monitoring Service will cease. No refunds or credits will be issued.

    b) Annual subscriptions:

    If you cancel an annual subscription within the first six (6) months of payment, you will continue to have access to your Mint Credit Monitor Service until the end of the monthly period during which you canceled. You will receive a prorated refund for the amount outstanding. If you cancel an annual subscription after six (6) months of enrollment, you will continue to have access to the Mint Credit Monitor Service until the end of the annual period during which you canceled, at which point your access to the Mint Credit Monitor Service will cease. No refunds or credit will be issued.

    If you purchase another credit products via our website, please review any additional terms where applicable. Unless otherwise stated on the website, refunds or credits are not available.


    Customer support will vary depending on the Mint Credit Monitoring Service. Please refer to the Services website for information. For questions regarding your credit score or credit report, please contact the Processing Agent directly at 1-866-373-7830. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE MINT CREDIT MONITORING SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE PLACING OF FRAUD ALERTS WITH ANY CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCIES. YOU MUST CONTACT THE CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCIES DIRECTLY IF YOU SUSPECT ANY FRAUD ACTIVITY.

    a) You acknowledge that Intuit is not a credit repair company or similarly regulated organization under applicable laws, and does not provide credit repair services. Where available, information provided via the Mint Credit Monitoring Service is for your educational and reference purpose only and is provided at no additional charge. The Mint Credit Monitoring Service is intended to provide you with general information and is not intended to provide, legal, tax or financial advice. We do not provide any services to repair or improve your credit profile or credit score, nor do we provide any representation that the information we provide will actually repair or improve your profile. Consult the services of a competent licensed professional when you need any type of this assistance.
    b) You acknowledge that Intuit is not a "consumer reporting agency" as that term is defined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act as amended.
    a) The credit scores provided under the Mint Monitoring Service uses the Equifax Credit Score™, which is a proprietary credit model developed by our Processing Agent. The credit score is intended for your own educational use. It is also commercially available to third parties along with numerous other credit scores and models in the marketplace. Please keep in mind third parties are likely to use a different score when evaluating your creditworthiness. Third parties will take into consideration items other than your credit score or information found in your credit file, such as your income.
    b) Results from credit score calculator or simulator are provided for educational purposes only and are intended to show the impact that certain hypothetical actions could have on your credit score, assuming all other variables remain constant. The results are not a guarantee. Your actual score calculation may vary as information in your credit profile may change.

    We reserve the right to consider, ignore, emphasize, or de-emphasize any relevant factors in our sole discretion to provide you offers about other products and services. We do not guarantee that you will receive offers or that you are will be approved for any particular types of products or services through your use of the Services. You are under no obligation to use any of the information provided through the Mint Credit Monitoring Service. If you are interested in a product or service advertised via the Mint Credit Monitoring Service, you must apply directly with the third party provider; their terms and conditions may apply. Intuit is not responsible for third party providers and their products and services.
